欲
1、(形声。从欠,谷(yù)声。“欠”表示有所不足,故产生欲望。本义:欲望;嗜欲) 同本义。
欲,贪欲也。---《说文》。俗字亦作慾。
欲者,情之应也。---《荀子·正名》
六欲。---《吕氏春秋·贵生》。注:“生死耳目口鼻也。”
