1、(形声。从手,圭(guī)声。本义:区别,区分)。
2、同本义。
挂,画也。---《说文》。段玉裁注:《易·系辞传》:“分而为二以象两,挂一以象三。”…古本多作画者,此等皆有分别画出之意。陆德明云:“挂,别也。后人乃云悬挂,俗制挂字耳。”
挂于季指。---《仪礼·特牲礼》
变更易常以掛功名。---《庄子·渔夫》。释文:“别也。”
